The hardest person to lead is yourself - and it's the prerequisite for every other kind of leadership. A man who can't rule his own spirit, time, and habits cannot sustainably lead a family, a team, or a church.

You Go First

Your family will follow your example far more than your words. If you want a praying home, pray first. If you want disciplined kids, be disciplined. If you want peace, pursue peace in your own heart. Leadership is going first into the thing you're asking others to do.

Scripture

"Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."

1 Timothy 4:16

Kingdom Framework

Identity, Discipline, Leadership

The Men On Mission order is intentional: identity first (who you are), then discipline (ruling yourself), then leadership (influencing others). You cannot skip self-leadership and expect family leadership to hold.
